Looks like everyone is in for a little snow, but I am guessing that Houston's gonna get the worst out of all of us? Emilee... do you get snow days? At least work from home on snowy days? Looks like we are only in for a little bit of snow...less than initially expected. Oh well.
Madison, kudos on the cord detangler. Wherever did you get such neatly cut out lettering for your display? hmmmm. Looks like your mom's got your back! Very nice presentation! Is Dad (Dean) getting a cut of your profit? I thought he was the origin of the idea?
Well, we did end up having the parade of lights for Christmas in the Dells. South Dakota Jill... NOT Wisconsin. And it was so good, sure beat the riding lawn tractor with a string of lights on it. It was super cold and my toes and fingers took a long time to thaw, but it was so worth it. The parade was in honor of the speech therapist (who I was hired to replace after she retired). She past away from a battle with brain cancer. She really was quite a remarkable woman, and had impacted many, many lives. It was a very cool (literally) parade!
Carter has his school program Thursday afternoon and evening. That's our big event for the week. Since the program is on my birthday, I am also requesting that we go to the Crooks Christmas on Wednesday night. There is this little town of Crooks about 10 miles south of us and there is this one has that has this awesome light display. You tune in your radio to hear Christmas music that he has set his Christmas lights to. It's crazy good! And maybe if we hit it on a week night, we won't have to wait so long in the car line to get to the house.
Stay warm everyone...16 days at counting until Christmas Eve! My shopping, still not done!
Ho ho ho!
Julie
p.s. Jason are you back?
