So while I was laying on the couch thinking about how much a don't like to have a cold I came up with a fun idea for Christmas. Since we are all scrapbooking now (and after scrapping last night I realized I have to sort through my things!) I thought it would be fun if we had a swap meet when we are together over Christmas. We could all bring an assortment of things that we don't think we will use and then exchange them. I was thinking something like 5 pieces of paper. I also have tons of embellishments that I should go through also but wasn't sure if anyone else uses eyelets, brads, etc. Anyways, I think it would be a fun way to get a "new" assortment without having to shop. I also have another plan that I will share with the Freed Family women when we are home :) So if you are interested let me know and I will definitely be in! If anyone knows of anything they want cut from a cricut I am thinking that mine will make the trip to NWIA also.
Well, after being extremely ticked off at my husband when (I apparently misunderstood his conversation with me) he got home two hours later than I expected from hunting. I was sure he was unconcious in the woods (I am not a fan of hunting...too dangerous for me) we are heading out to start/finish Christmas shopping this evening. My list is ready and I have a plan of action involving splitting up to battle two stores at once. Never fail I always get in a slow line for check out.
We are planning on snow clothes and a great day of sledding the big hill. I did find Hayden some lovely red snowpants, poor girl, they were really hard to find and don't go very well with her blue jacket. Sorry, aunt Jill, she won't be a fashion statement :)
Well, I better get moving so I am ready when Calli comes. Have a wonderful weekend! We are having a heat wave...almost 40 today and near 50 tomorrow (Great snowman snow now).
Take care and see you soon...
Em
