Hi All,
I just wanted to share Macin's words after Sunday School today, "Hey mom, did you know that baby Jesus slept in a cow milk dish." She sat and very seriously told me the story of baby Jesus, with many details that only a 4 year old would understand. I love that she is at the age of understanding the meaning of Christmas and is letting other people know. Next weekend is the Christmas program and a big birthday party for Jesus. So a week full of celebrations is on deck for Macin. Thursday is her party at preschool (and when you live in Houston you still get to call it a Christmas party and exchange gifts, it will be a first for her).
Our task of Christmas shopping last night could be called a success. The only thing we couldn't find was the swimming rescue puppy (which is the only thing Macin specifically asked for other than a Power Wheel) so my mission this week is to figure out what else she would like. It was so nice to power shop and spend time with Jason. A little supper at Buffalo Wild Wings and we were back to Houston by 11:00.
Off to a busy last full week before break...
