We are up on the North Shore for a few days. No phone-no internet, just peace and quiet. We have to go up the road about 4 miles to a coffee shop for those services. We have been walking everyday and have a "little" television with rabbit ears. However the view is spectacular!!! Went in to Duluth on Sunday and they have a 10 movie complex plus an omnimax. We chose to go to the new movie Australia, which I highly recommend! It is the best movie we have seen in quite some time. History, scenery, a little romance and some real special touches. Nicole Kidman is very good as well as her leading man and the child star is also excellent. This little getaway will be hard on the diet but hopefully the walking will help. Also read the book, Fireproof and have just started The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. We have seen two foxes one the road and several deer--one with probably a ten point rack. I am sure they are out looking for food. All this while walking. Welcome home, Jason. Hope you had a great trip. Will be anxious to hear about it. I am sure Em and the girls were glad to see you.
Have now caught up all the blogs. It is a wonderful way to keep in touch when you are not at home.We have enjoyed each and everyone. We do go back tomorrow. Plan to be behind the bad weather. The view are breathtaking from our cabin. The boats are still loading and going in and out of the harbor.
