Obviously I holed up in the woman cave last night. Looks like my cave has expanded to include Miss Madison. I will allow it, since she is female! After a run to Walmart for her to spend some of her Christmas cash (all in the craft department) she pulled up a chair to do some beading.
That's my girl!
Remember when your kids were babies and you asked yourself will they EVER sleep past 6:00 AM! The answer to that question is YES! I remember Milo and I used to trade Saturdays getting up with the girls. With the wind howling this chilly Saturday morning we all bunked in until 10:00. I haven't slept that late in YEARS! I was shocked when I woke up! So after the shock wore off we headed down for some of daddio's famous Saturday morning pancakes, complete with a tall ice cold glass of milk. YUM!
What a perfect start to the day!
hmmmm...with freezing rain and snow fore casted for this afternoon, I think I am going to make some homemade bread and chili for supper, while I listen to the whirl and swish of the washer and dryer doing the weekly wash run today. Sounds inspiring AND delicious!
I best get a move on, it is nearly noon!
P.P.S. Milo couldn't go on the Walmart run last night because he would have missed the last 1/2 hour of Rocky IV, hands down our favorite Rocky!
