Another Winter Morning

We once again woke up to blowing snow with a three foot drift on the front porch. Yesterday afternoon when I got home from work you couldn't see the cemetary. So with all that I have been cleaning and organizing my creative memory supplies. I have my list made for some additional colored paper and stickers. Then I will once again start catching up on the albums.

Dad and I have been watching basketball everynite. I love it. There are some great teams out there and as per the norm after football season is over I easily transition to basketball.

Last Friday when I was on the treadmill I heard a loud crash. I walked through the house twice and couldn't find anything out of place. Anyway on Saturday nite when I went down to turn on the TV I notice the whole shelf above the DVD player was gone--shelf, pictures and lamp and laying behind the TV. Don't know if it was a cat (?) or a ghost(?)

I am up to walking on the treadmill 2 times a day. I don't know about the rest of you but Christmas added a couple of stubborn pounds on that I just can't get rid of. Actually I did hear of a report of a member gaining back more than that. So what weight are we starting at:)?

I will have to sing the little ditty on the blog this am about the fat cells going and the muscles growing .

Jenny is pretty excited about her birthday. The choir is having a surprise party for her with pizza and a monster chocolate chip cookie before their performance on the 25th. She is coming home that weekend and we are going out for supper on Saturday nite, church on Sunday.
She called last nite to tell me she would have to leave earlier because " they HAD to eat supper before they left for their performance and she really didn't want to do that". Won't she be surprised!!

I made Texas caviar this weekend. Umm good with celery, crackers or chips, but lots of beans. shoepeg corn and jalepanos.

Well things to do so better get going for the day.

P.S. Jill I will definitely take a raincheck on the pavlova. That is an australian dessert? It looks much like the lemon angel pie which is a favorite of mine.
