Dear Family

The jokes are good, but it would be nice to hear how everyone is doing! It's been fairly quiet since the new year. I thought this blog was to help with communication! Hello... is anyone out there?

Here's what is new in DRSD...we all started back to reality on Tuesday and we are all slowly getting back into the swing of things. Claire as I said is mending an ear infection, and is getting closer to her oldself (as compared to the didn't know why she was screaming and crying self she had been). Carter complains daily of getting up for school AND going to bed at night. However, still says that his days are good at school. He has a sleep over in Sioux Falls on Friday with an old daycare friend. He is quite excited. I have started a new quilt, so I am chomping at the bit to sew a bit here and there. In 2008 you know it was my year to catch up on my unfinished quilting projects. I can happily say the I sewed three table runners, two wallhangings, and six quilts (almost 8). Unfortunately, I still have many kits, unfinished projects, and scraps that are calling my name. So I am renewing this resolution (if you would call it that) and digging a little deeper into the closer for 2009. Kevin had lots of ice fishing time over Christmas, but unfortunately not a lot of fish came home (okay...none!) So I know that he is looking forward to the weekend, so he can slip away to a lake. Which is okay with me, because then I just get out the sewing machine! {:0)

I also wanted everyone to know that I do have pictures from Christmas that I will share with you all via Shutterfly. Sorry, sorry, sorry!! However... I still haven't loaded the software from my new camera onto our computer. So they remain "stuck" in my camera, but I do have some good ones. Promise, it's on my this weekend's to do list. There! I put it out there, now I am bound!

Any Biggest Loser watchers out there!?!? Saw the first episode last night. WHOA! Who can I gab with about it?!?! Let me know.

Well, I hope that no news is good news... since it's been so quiet out there. Would love to hear from someone...anyone. Partner... are you still there?
