TGIF

is that what they say in the 'work world'? OK!

TGIF!

My first 'official' work week just ended about 10 minutes ago, well that is working for another 'employer' other than myself! The boss aka. ME is insisting on another 3 more hours of order filling, phone calls, preparation for tomorrow's skin care/color clinics, and mailing invitations for more upcoming clinics. yada, yada, yada! Man that boss is a tough one! Doesn't' she know I already put in a 6 hour day on the road and was up at the crack of dawn to do so?

On THE road, I LOVE being on the road! In bread at birth I believe from my father, I love hitting the road on a bright sunny day ready to tackle a day of appointments. Today my on-the-job training was running appointments with a wonderful woman, aka. Pat to learn the sales process for selling cremation packages. Yes, you heard right, cremation packages! Believe me, once you hear it, it makes complete sense!

I ask myself, 'Why would I want to take up anymore space after I am dead?' Just toast me up, all nice and warm, scoop me up and put me in a pretty little box (not sure of the color yet), tied with a ribbon and carry me off too _____? I haven't decided that one yet either! Then sprinkle me a bit here and a bit there of course mixed together with my favorite man in my life and let us gently and effortlessly blow away together! Sounds, utterly romantic!

So after some good ole Iowa country farm land windshield time, Pat and I arrived successfully back to Cedar Rapids with two more signed contracts and possibly a third one on Monday. That added to her 10 for the week deemed the week a complete success!

I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all sorts of new people this week. Passing my 'label' test (right, Wendy?), getting that looming question answered, 'Did you really want to be a funeral director when you were growing up?' AND just learning all sorts of NEW things!

Kennedy and Madison were in utter shock on Sunday when I shared a bit about my new job venture. "You are working, WHERE?" I simply responded with 'A mom has to do what a mom has to do for her young ins!'

Monday I arrived home from my day and I shouted, 'Honey, I am home from WORK!" He immediately greeted me at the door with a HUGE hug and kiss! YUM!

By Wednesday, Madison was asking 'So how was work mom? Did anyone get cremated today?'

And on Thursday, Kennedy inquired, 'EXACTLY what ARE you doing there?'

So an interesting, fun and enjoyable week it has been! Coupled with the continued growth and success of Reveal. The products were flying off the shelf this week along with 2 clinics on the books for tomorrow, pending our 'snow storm'. No school today (Friday) and no school on Monday. WHOOO!

We transitioned back to 'life' well following our beautiful trip to Cabo just a week ago! WOW! A week has gone by already?

Well, the BOSS is telling me it is time to get to work and stop 'messing around'. I best obey, don't want to lose this job!

Have a 'snow filled' weekend?
