Geez... when was the last time I blogged?!?! It was probably before my concert trip to Omaha. That was sooooo fun. My friend Kathy and I saw Darius Rucker (a.k.a. Hootie from Hootie and the Blowfish), Dierks Bentley, and Brad Paisley. Kathy said we were swimming in "hot guy soup". Regardless of the view, it was a really, really fun concert. We drove into my driveway at 3:30 am. I don't really remember the last time I tip-toed into the house at that time. I completely missed the entire Super Bowl the next day to catch up on sleep! Totally worth it though!
Carter has been busy snowmobiling on "what he claims is his" snowmobile. He started out at 20 mph and said that was really going fast, but by last weekend says he was jumping ramps (snow drifts) on the lake and "Guess what mom? The WHOLE snowmobile was off the ground!!!!!" Hmmm... Kevin assures me not to worry. But now all of our snow is gone, so he either wants it to snow a lot more or he wants summer to happen RIGHT NOW (so he can skateboard). Carter just got his piano music for his spring recital this week. And he is pumped about his Valentine's party tomorrow. His valentine's box looks like a LEGO, pretty cool!!
Claire is anxiously waiting her birthday next week. Thanks Jill for the gift... just got it today. We picked up a new bike for her big gift with a new helmet. I am so excited to see her reaction. Yet another reason for spring/summer to come! Claire is big into drawing faces... you should see her impression of Kevin. Not to shabby, she even includes the whiskers! It's pretty funny!! She has her Valentine's party at daycare tomorrow. I can't imagine how all 9 boys she goes to daycare with are going to enjoy princess valentines! ha!!
So that's the update from us. Oh... Kevin is doing well too! Sorry no picture!! Hope everyone is healthy and doing well.
