Well, it's official... she's three! Here she is blowing out the final candle on the DQ birthday cake. The highlights of her day were definitely, (1) the birthday sticker that she got to wear at daycare, (2) showing off her new talent of holding up three fingers, (3) reminding anyone who would listen that "I'm not 2 anymore!" and (4) the bike and helmet combo. As you can see, she even wore the bike helmet even for cake!I can't even believe she turned three. I swear that I must have blinked and POOF there went the last three years. I know, I know...I am not saying anything that you all don't already know and feel. But man, where does the time go? And why does it have to go by so fast?
This weekend, we are traveling to Okoboji for the 2nd annual Wynja Waterpark Weekend, to which we are tagging on a birthday party for Claire! The kids have woke up almost everyday asking "Is today the day we go to the waterpark?" We are all quite excited. It should be a lot of fun!!

Oh no!! I have cursed my child with the dreaded "look away from the camera" syndrome!! Come one I know I got some good laughs from that... because her eyes are like every picture I ever took from age 3 through 9!! Also notice new knee pads!!
