Kennedy's Birthday Pics.

Great party last night! They ordered MORE pizza at midnight! Kennedy took home the mother load in gift cards ($190), hence a shopping spree at the mall this afternoon. FYI. once you turn 11, that is the gift to give. ALSO FYI...when you have a 13 year old, taking pictures is TABOO! So you HAVE to have a plan to do it secretively, otherwise you hear a lot of 'THAT IS DUMB...STOP!' Wish I would have known that in advance, so that I would have purchased a camera with a telescopic lens. Mothers of YOUNG children...PLEASE MAKE NOTE!

Also make note that when YOU want to visit with YOUR friends following church, that is unbelievable torture for a 13 year old, however for you to sit at the ice rink for 2 hours, 1 of which is past your bedtime, THAT is completely acceptable. ;-)

So after 6 large pizzas, 4 liters of soda, one large birthday cake, 2 hours of ice skating, 1/2 extra large box of bisquick (ie. two batches of pancakes), 1 gallon of milk, 1/2 gallon of orange juice, a container of syrup, peanut butter, oodles of paper plates, and a house FULL of 16 squirrely girls (including Madison and a friend)...THE PARTY IS OVER!

I asked Milo this morning, how in the world did his parents afford feeding 3 boys!

Quick update from the Japenga household for Thursday plans:

I am rescheduling my appointments on Thursday afternoon and pulling the girls out of school early to be in Houston by 3:30 to help with Hayden and Macin, so Emilee can get to class and we can ride up together to the cities.

Kennedy doesn't have anything pressing at school, so she is also coming, however we have to be back by 5:00 on Friday for a birthday party. If you name ends in Japenga, the parties just never end!

Milo is rescheduling his Friday AM appointment in NW Iowa and is going to see about changing his flight from arriving in CR to Minneapolis late Thursday night.

Halloween done.
Kennedy's birthday done.
Milo's birthday up next!

Have a GREAT week!

YUM....I just enjoyed a Sunday after church, Milo, egg mcmuffin (made sure it was within my caloric intake for the day!)
