Good early morning family! Sorry, I haven't checked in for awhile, but I think I have finally recovered from conferences and our Minneapolis weekend.
We had such a fun time up in the Cities, and are looking forward to the trip up next week. We will be having turkey in Sibley on Thanksgiving and then should be heading up late afternoon on Thursday. Hopefully we'll catch a room at the Marriot and get a chance to see all of you that evening sometime. I promise we won't arrive a late as last time! {:0)
Picked up Boo from the vet yesterday, he is officially "fixed" and declawed. So it's his first day with free rein of the house, hopefully I don't come home to any surprises. Cross your fingers!
I didn't get a chance to say it at the game, but EVERYONE is looking great! Well Milo, I can only assume that you look great as well. This blog and challenge has been such a fantastic way for our family to increase our communication, and oh yeah, get a little healthy too. I do wonder if we will all continue our healthy habits over Christmas or if we will all go a little crazy. Kinda funny to think about, I can imagine us all trying to eat in moderation and then the flood gates opening. Maybe I am just thinking about myself! I am sure you all have good self control! I will try to look for low fat chili recipes and sugar-free sugar cookies... or not!
Thanks for sharing the pictures Jill, I promise to bring my camera to the next game and return the favor.
Time to wake up Carter... listen carefully and you may hear him in the distance "MOM... I AM NOT WAKING UP TODAY!!!" It's always such a joy! And with Claire it's just a crap shoot. Somedays we can't wait to jump out of bed and other days she follows in her brother's foot steps.
Oh... quick funny Claire story. Yesterday she was driving Carter crazy and Carter said, "Claire leave me alone!". Claire looked at me with her blue eyes and said, "Mom, Carter says he loves me too!" Apparently, she was reading between the lines! Love those kids!!
Hey everyone, have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!!! I love you all!
Julie
