Dear Blog,

I am sorry for having ignored you all week! Not that you were not on my mind, you simply fell at the bottom of my list of things needing to be accomplished. I miss your inspiring creativity and relaxing peace that comes with emptying my mind on the pages of your heart.

I won't succumb to the words, 'I was too BUSY!' I can't stand it when people say that, so I will simply say, 'You were just not the priority this week'. Other things came before you and honestly, more important things.

I have so much to tell you and can't wait for the weekend, when I will take some time to share. In the mean time, I am headed off for Kennedy's track meet tonight. She is running the 400m, 800m, anchoring the 4X400, and long jump. I am so proud of her!

Then tomorrow I am spending the entire day with Kennedy and my dad (O! yeah...Milo and my mom too) at the Drake Relays. I am so excited, I haven't been since I participated in high school and college. The weather is suppose to be beautiful and we have excellent seats. It will be a special experience to remember what happen in years past around that blue oval and consider what could happen in the future.
