Arman would wake me up every 40 minutes with 'ill, how you progress.'
By 12:00 we had managed to reformat, reload, and it appeared as if I was about 50/50 with retrieving everything. What I had lost was 30 days of business data, $4,000 of product out and unaccounted for, 30 days of logged expenses GONE, new leads, referrals, past phone calls, and balances paid and unpaid irretrievable! One day of personal banking information GONE!
Grateful for what I had saved, I finished by asking Arman where in the heck he was located. 'India, he tells me and it was 10:00 AM, he was just going 'off shift'. I went to bed hoping the number Mr. Milo had located for me was indeed authentic and Arman wasn't leaving from work 'taking my identity' with him.
With nothing else I could do with the situation but wait until Saturday to take inventory and try to piece together a month of lost data, I hit the ground running. On Monday when I accessed my email from the Internet, Arman had emailed me a confirmation of our work completed, signed Yogi Support!
Monday night was spent reloading other programs and trying to connect to the internet.
Then on Tuesday, far in the distance I see a man on a white horse, carrying his sword and shield and riding right towards me! Could it be? Mr. Milo had contacted a friend who knew MUCH about computers and thought may be he could fix my situation! With new found hope I left a list of things still needing to be reloaded, including trying to find my last 30 days, which I had deemed LOST forever, until I received the call! 'Bill found all your data, has reconnected you with the Internet, set up your virus protection, you should be good to go!'
'Good to go!' Those words ranging in my ears like sweet hot fudge sauce running down a bowl of ICE cold vanilla ice cream. Bill rode in, knocked off Arman and SAVED the day! Bill will forever be my YOGI prince charming of the computer world! He also reassured me that even when he needs tech support will get connected with the Yogi's in India.
So Wednesday came and it was time for my hair cut. I was NOT going looking for Heidi Klum's style and instead decided, the HECK with it, I am chopping it all off. I need to be ME! My motto is...'If you haven't gotten a compliment on your hair in the last 3 months, then you need to cut it, color it, or GET more of it'.
I wonder what Arman's hair looked like?
FYI. I am now backing up data EVERY night!
